Whereas, Raebareli Romance is in Hindi (English version is also available). Saras who is a software engineer believes in experiencing and treats society as his inspiration. Let’s have a sneak peek into the conversation between Saras Azad and Bookish MB to know more interesting things.
Bookish MB — Tell us a little about yourself? Something that is known to only a few people.
Saras Azad — I don’t believe in believing. I believe in experiencing. I like talking about everything that common people shy away from, like death, sex, orthodox customs. I used to create my own comics in my childhood.
Bookish MB — From where did you get the inspiration for writing books on different topics?
Saras Azad — Society itself is my inspiration. There is so much around us, we just need to give words to those incidents. And I like variety in everything including my writing. I cannot go on writing the same kinds of books and just giving different names to them like many other authors.
Bookish MB — Which according to you is the most difficult part of writing?
Saras Azad — Everything and nothing. If you don’t feel romantic from the inside and write romance, it will have no conviction. Similarly, if you are not laughing yourself while writing a humorous scene, it will not be humorous for others too.
Bookish MB — Could help our readers know which websites you refer to when you feel blue and want something to read?
Saras Azad — It depends on the mood and the time. I rather prefer to have a chat with my loved ones.
Bookish MB — As a writer, do you have family support?
Saras Azad — Yes, I do have. But even if I didn’t, it wouldn’t bother me.
Bookish MB — Tell us about your exclusive or rather rare writing habit that you love?
Saras Azad — I like writing, sitting on the bank of a pond.
Bookish MB — Writing a book was your first preference or it just happened by luck?
Saras Azad — Absolutely, it was there in me since my childhood. I am not a writer by chance like some Ravinder Singh. I was fond of writing since I can recall. I had written many short stories in my childhood.
Bookish MB — Are any of the characters of the book inspired by real-life humans?
Saras Azad — All my characters are real-life characters.
Bookish MB — Are you planning to write more books? Can you help our readers find your future works?
Saras Azad — Yes, my journey has just begun. My readers can find me and about my works on my social media handles.
Bookish MB — Any message for beginners who are trying to find which books to start from?
Saras Azad — Absolutely no. No advice to anyone until it is asked for in person. :)
